Posting to your blog

Once you've logged into Blogger you'll see your Dashboard, showing your list of blogs. Click the orange pencil icon to create a new post:

Next, you'll see the Post Editor. Start by giving your post a title (optional), then enter the post itself:

How to use Blogger

Do you know how to use blogger for a beginner? Most people that are just learning how to blog don't realize that they can avoid hosting fees and web design fees by using a free blogger account that is offered by Google. The great thing about blogger is that you can have more than one free blog at a time. If you have a Gmail account, you can create multiple blogs under that Gmail and there are no blogging hosting fees.


Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a subdomain of Up until May 1, 2010 Blogger allowed users to publish blogs on other hosts, via FTP. All such blogs had (or still have) to be moved to Google's own servers, with domains other than allowed via custom URLs.
